Laboratory Group Holdings (LabCorp), formed by the 1995 merger of Roche's Clinical Laboratories and National Health Laboratories, is the second-largest independent clinical laboratory company in the U.S. Headquartered in Burlington, N.C., it was ranked No. 1,344 on the 2014 Forbes Global 2000 list of the world's largest companies.
