Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Company (Samsung Fire & Marine; Korean: 삼성화재) is a multinational insurance company owned by the Samsung Group, the largest corporation in South Korea, and was established on January 26, 1952, initially under the name of Korea Security Fire & Marine Insurance Company, Ltd. and changed its name to the current one in December 1993. The company specializes in automobile insurance, long-term insurance, commercial insurance, enterprise risk management, and annuities, and has operations in Asia, the Americas, and Europe.
