Isetan (いせたん; English: Isetan) is Japan's leading retail department store group, which originated as a kimono store in 1886 (Meiji 19) and is now operated by Isetan Co., Ltd. a subsidiary of Mitsukoshi Isetan Holdings Inc. with outlets throughout the Kanto region of Japan, China, Southeast Asia and other areas.
