Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae 청와대), residence of the president of South Korea in Seoul

Cheongwadae (청와대, Cheongwadae/Blue House) is the official residence of the President of the Republic of South Korea, named Cheongwadae after its white walls and blue tiles, and also referred to by some as the "Blue House". The official website of Cheongwadae, the official website of the South Korean presidential office, was hacked in June 2013, and in 1968 it was attacked by North Korean troops (Cheongwadae Incident). Cheong Wa Dae is also a popular tourist attraction in South Korea.
