Associazione Calcio Chievo Verona, or simply Chievo FC, is commonly referred to as "Verona" by its city rival Hellas Verona FC. The team was founded in 1929 and its home ground is the Stadio Bentegodi. The team entered Serie A for the first time in 2001, was relegated in 2007, and returned to Serie A in 2008.
