Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries

The Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa, abbreviated CPLP, or Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries for short) is a forum of friendship formed by Portuguese-speaking countries, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Lisbon, whose member countries include Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique and other Portuguese-speaking countries.
