Peabody Award

The George Foster Peabody Awards, one of the oldest and most prestigious awards in electronic media, was established in 1941, modeled after the Pulitzer Prize, to recognize excellence in radio, television, and Internet programming, and is operated by the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
