MTV Movie Awards

The MTV Movie Awards is an international annual film awards show organized by MTV (the global music television network), which was launched in 1992. Unlike academy awards such as the Oscars, the MTV Movie Awards winners are voted on by the general public through the official website, and do not rely on judging. The trophy is in the shape of a popcorn bucket, which is essential for moviegoers, and is therefore also known as the "Golden Popcorn Award".
