Monaco Football Club

Association Sportive de Monaco Football Club is a professional soccer club in the Grand Duchy of Monaco, a Ligue 1 competing team. Founded in 1919, the club's home stadium is the Stade Louis II with a capacity of 18,500. Monaco has won the Ligue 1 title seven times and the Coupe de France five times, and was promoted from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1 in 2011 after a Russian tycoon invested in the club.
