Moda Operandi is an Italian high-end fashion pre-sale website co-founded in 2010 by Aslaug Magnusdottir, former CEO of Gilt, and Lauren Santo Domingo, contributing editor of American Vogue. The site focuses on pre-sales of major designer brands from around the world, with a pre-sale period that is more than two months faster than the arrival time in mainstream stores, and signing up designers such as Calvin Klein, Thakoon, Rochas, and Nina Ricci.
