U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is an agency under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and its main responsibilities include regulating and facilitating international trade, collecting import tariffs, preventing the entry of terrorists and terrorist weapons into the U.S., and protecting U.S. businesses from intellectual property theft.
