The U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a U.S. government geographic intelligence agency established in 1996, headquartered in Bethesda, as a subordinate agency of the U.S. Department of Defense, and is primarily responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating geographic intelligence.
