Emmy Award

The Emmy Awards (Emmy Awards) are divided into American Emmy Awards and International Emmy Awards, here for the American Emmy Awards (hereinafter referred to as: Emmy Awards). The Emmy Awards are the highest awards in American television, equal in status to the Oscars in the film industry and the Grammys in the music industry, and are presented by the Los Angeles-based Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS) on January 25, 1949, when they were first awarded.
