London Stock Exchange (LSE)

The London Stock Exchange (LSE; abbreviation: London Stock Exchange, LSE) is one of the world's four largest stock exchanges (the other three are the New York Stock Exchange, Tokyo Stock Exchange, and Nasdaq), and is also the world's top financial center. As Europe's largest exchange, the London Stock Exchange undertakes more than two-thirds of the international stock business, is the ideal gateway to Europe for investors from all over the world. 2011 February 9, the parent company of the Toronto Stock Exchange, TMX Group, was acquired by the London Stock Exchange with 3.2 billion U.S. dollars, and since then has created a broader trading platform.
