The London Eye, once the world's largest Ferris wheel (now Singapore Flyer) at 130 meters, opened in 1999 and is also known as the Millennium Wheel. The London Eye has 32 air-conditioned capsules, each carrying about 25 passengers, and takes about 30 minutes to rotate around.
