Risona Holdings

Resona Holdings (Resona Holdings, Inc.; Japanese: りそなホールディングス) is one of Japan's leading financial holding companies, which was initially established as Daiwa Bank Holdings in December 2001 as a joint venture of three banks, including Daiwa Bank, Kinki Osaka Bank, and Nara Bank; In March 2002, the Risona Group was formally established the following month with the addition of Asahi Bank, and was renamed to its current name in October of the same year.
