The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE; abbreviated as UNECE or ECE) is a branch of the United Nations, founded in 1947, subordinate to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and its members include the United States, Canada and other countries, in addition to European countries.
