Levante Football Club (Levante Unión Deportiva) is a professional soccer club based in Valencia, Spain, founded in 1909, with a home stadium, Valencia City Stadium, with a capacity of 25,354. Levante has long played in the lower divisions of the Spanish league, with results not comparable to those of fellow city club Valencia, but has been promoted to La Liga in recent years, and was a La Liga participant in the 2013-14 season.
