Red Bull Leipzig

RasenBallsport Leipzig e. V.; shortened to Red Bull Leipzig, RB Leipzig) is a German professional soccer club that came into existence in 2009 with the acquisition of fifth-division side Markgrandstadt by Red Bull, with its home stadium being the Red Bull Arena. Red Bull Leipzig was gradually promoted from Germany's fifth division to the Bundesliga over a period of seven years, becoming a Bundesliga entry for the 2016-17 season.
