Christie's is a world-renowned auction house specializing in the sale of works of art and antiquities.Christie's conducted its first auction in London in December 1766, with its main auction room located on King Street in St. James's. Christie's has also sold the rat and rabbit heads from the Yuanmingyuan Bronze Animal Heads in 2009, which were sold at the same time.
