Ruby Design Bureau

The Ruby Design Bureau (full name: Ruby Central Design Bureau for Marine Machinery, конструкторское бюро "Рубин") is one of the three major Russian submarine design bureaus, headquartered in St. Petersburg, and is the one that has designed the most classes of submarines, and built the largest number of them. In addition to designing and building submarines, the Ruby Design Bureau also designs and builds offshore oil and gas drilling platforms and other civilian projects.
