The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is an arbitration body under the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the settlement of international sports disputes, founded in 1984 and based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Most of the cases handled by the Court of Arbitration for Sport are disputes over banned substances and player transfers.
