The International Handball Federation (IHF, IHF, IHF) is the international governing organization for the sport of handball, founded in 1946, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, with 163 members (2014), and with official languages of English, French and German. Tournaments organized by the IHF include the World Men's Handball Championship and the World Women's Handball Championship.
