Glashütte (Glashütte Original) is a German watchmaker whose history dates back to the founding of Lange in 1845, which was later adapted by the GDR as the People's Enterprise of Glashütte Watch Factory until its privatization was completed in 1994. Glashütte is currently part of the Swatch Group.
