Florence Academy of Fine Arts

Florence Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia delle Belle Arti di Firenze) is the first art school in Europe, founded in 1563, located in Florence, Italy, known as "the mother of the world's art academies, the first of the four major art academies". The Florence Academy of Fine Arts now has the Statue of David and other famous works of art in its collection. The school offers painting, sculpture, design and other departments.
