SC Freiburg is a professional soccer club in the German city of Freiburg, founded in 1904, with a home stadium, the 25,000-seat Magsolar Stadion . Freiburg played in regional leagues for a long time, and did not enter the Bundesliga for the first time until 1978, before being promoted to the Bundesliga in 1993.
