Euronext is one of the world's largest stock exchanges, formed by the merger of the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, the Paris Stock Exchange, the Brussels Stock Exchange, and the Lisbon Stock Exchange in 2000, and headquartered in Paris. 2006, the New York Stock Exchange took Euronext under its umbrella and became NYSE Euronext.
