This website is the official website of the Vatican government in four languages: Chinese, German, English and Spanish. It mainly provides information about the Pope, the Holy See, the Bible and Catholic Catechism. The Vatican City State (abbreviation: Vatican) is the smallest state in the world, located on the high ground in the northwest corner of the city of Rome, Italy. Its official languages are Italian and Latin, and it belongs to the religious leadership system. The head of state is the Pope, who can hold office for life, and the center of the government is the Holy See, with the State Council in charge of the administration of the Holy See and the Pope's secret affairs, and the head of the State Council is the Secretary of State.
