Empoli Football Club is an Italian professional soccer club, founded in 1920, located in Empoli, Tuscany, with a home stadium, the Stadio Carlo Castellani, which has a capacity of nearly 20,000 spectators.Empoli has long been in a position between the Serie A and Serie B leagues, and in the 2013-14 season captured the Serie B second place and was promoted to Serie A for the 2014-15 season.
