RIA Novosti (Russian International News Agency, RIA Novosti), headquartered in Moscow, was officially registered in April 2004 as a state-owned enterprise of the Russian Federation and is Russia's leading media holding company. RIA Novosti's subsidiaries include the Russian Multimedia International News Agency, the economic news agency PRIME, the Russian Legal and Judicial News Agency (RAPSI), the sports news agency R-Sport, the publishing house of the Russian and English-language newspaper Moskovskiye Novosti, the RIA Novosti Ratings and Analysis Agency, a network of news centers throughout the country and abroad, and a network of news centers in 14 languages, as well as a network of news centers in Russia.
