Doraemon (ドラえもん; Doraemon; also known as: Robot Cat, Tinker Bell, etc.) is a household name around the world, but also a national animation work in Japan, by Hiroshi Fujimoto and Yasuko Sooio, two cartoonists collaborated to complete. Doraemon" started broadcasting in 1979, it set off a wave of Doraemon craze; in 2002, was selected by Time Magazine as "Asian Heroes"; in March 2008, was selected as Japan's first "Anime Cultural Ambassador"; on September 3, 2012, Doraemon turned 100 years old. On September 3, 2012, Doraemon became a Special Citizen of Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture on his 100th birthday. On April 5, 2013, he joined the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Bid Committee and became the first Special Ambassador for the Olympic Bid, and in October 2013, he officially settled in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
