The German National Library (also known as: Deutsche Nationalbibliothek/Die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek) is one of the national libraries of the Federal Republic of Germany, and one of several large political regional libraries in Germany. It was completed in 1913 and officially opened in 1914, and consists of the National Library in Leipzig, the National Library in Frankfurt, and the German National Music Archive in Berlin. It consists of the National Library of Leipzig, the National Library of Frankfurt, and the German National Music Archive in Berlin. The library is a non-lending library, and is responsible for the collection of all books published in German since 1913, as well as the development of the German national bibliography.
