Osaka Stock Exchange

Osaka Stock Exchange (Osaka Securities Exchange), one of the three major stock exchanges in Japan, the other two being the Kyoto Stock Exchange and the Nagoya Stock Exchange, is located in Kitahama, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, and originated in the Edo period, 1652-1673, with its predecessor being the Osaka Grain Exchange; the Osaka Stock Exchange was formally established in 1878.
