Clif Bar & Company is an American food and beverage manufacturer founded in 1992 and headquartered in Emeryville, California, whose flagship product is the Clif Bar energy bar.Clif Bar sponsors a number of famous extreme athletes, but in 2014 the company announced that it was releasing its sponsorship of five extreme athletes, including famous Freesolo athlete Alex Honnold and five other extreme athletes.
