Pokemon is an anime series directed by Kunihiko Yuyama.The Pokémon anime series (ポケットモンスター; Pocket Monsters), which began in 1996, focuses on the story of Chi, who aspires to become a Pokémon Master, and his partner Pikachu. The Pokémon animated series consists of four installments: Pokémon Unprinted, Pokémon Ultra Generation, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, and Pokémon Super Wish.
