Chapters bookstore chain

Chapters is Canada's number one bookstore chain, and is well known in Canada as the result of the 1995 merger of two of Canada's largest bookstores, Coles and SmithBooks. 2001 saw the merger of Chapters with another major bookstore chain under the umbrella of the Indigo Book and Music Publishing Group. In 2001, Chapters merged with another large bookstore chain and came together under the Indigo Book and Music Publishing Group.
