Zeiss (name)

Carl Zeiss is a world-renowned manufacturer of optical products, founded in Jena, Germany in 1846. After World War II, the company split into two, Carl Zeiss AG and Carl Zeiss Jena People's Enterprise, and the two companies were re-merged in 1990. Zeiss products include lenses, cameras, microscopes, telescopes, eyeglass lenses, night-vision goggles, and military sights.
