Air Baltic

Air Baltic Corporation (Air Baltic) is the national airline of Latvia, whose 52.6% and 47.2% shares are held by the Latvian government and the Baltic Aviation System (Baltijas aviācijas sistēmas SIA) respectively.On August 28, 1995, the Latvian Government and Scandinavian Airlines established Air Baltic as a joint venture, with its hub airports being Gaja International Airport and Vilnius International Airport; on October 1 of the same year, Air Baltic's first flight was successful. In addition, the airline has the attributes of both a traditional airline and a low-cost airline.
