Barneys New York (Barneys New York; abbreviation: Barneys, Barneys NY, Barneys) is a world-renowned chain of fashionable upscale department stores, the flagship store is located on Fifth Avenue in New York City, was founded by Mr. Barney Pressman (Barney Pressman) in 1923, mainly providing the world's famous designer brand discount clothing. In 1996, the department store filed for bankruptcy, Jones Apparel (Jones Apparel) Group to buy its shares.
