PILOT Group (PILOT) is a globally renowned pen company founded in 1918 by Professor Ryosuke Namiki and Mr. Masao Wada, initially known as Namiki Manufacturing Company, specializing in the production of tap pens; in 1938, the company grew and was renamed as PILOT Tap Pen Company Ltd.; and in 1989, due to the continuous expansion of its business, it was formally renamed as the PILOT Group.
