Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO)

The Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO) is the Australian security intelligence organization responsible for protecting the security of the nation and its citizens, and for defending against and countering foreign interference, political violence and terrorism. The organization maintains close links with the intelligence and security agencies of more than 120 other countries.
